Wettability Symposium 2010 - Calgary, Canada
Information of the 2010 International Symposium on Reservoir Wettability being held in Calgary, Alberta, September 6-9, 2010 is available here . If you plan on attending the symposium, you are encouraged to register at your earliest convenience as the conference venue has a limitation on numbers.
Hotel accommodations Group Rate at Hotel Alma is available until August 05, 2010 which is located on the University of Calgary site.

2010 Technical Achievement Award
The Nominations Committee chaired by David Potter, Past President, is soliciting nominations for the 2010 Darcy Award. This is SCA’s Technical Achievement Award, the highest honor the SCA can bestow. It is presented annually to an individual deemed by the SCA Board of Directors to have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of core analysis technology.
Information on previous recipients of this award can be found here. Members are encouraged to submit a nomination to David Potter before May 29, 2010, to be considered by the Awards Nomination Committee. We would appreciate any information on how to contact the nominee, if known. You may attach a few lines of supporting information about the nominee's technical contributions to core analysis.

SCA Symposium 2010
The 2010 International Symposium of the Society of Core Analysts will be held in Halifax, Canada from 4th to 7th October 2010.
It will consist of a workshop and 3 days of technical sessions (including both oral and poster presentations). The workshop and symposium will share the common theme "Core: From Wellsite to Production", with increased emphasis on activities occurring before and after the core is in the laboratory.
